A great start to restaurant style curry making |
This book is not about authentic Indian cuisine it is about recreating the restaurant taste that we all love so much. All of the favourites are here and they are really simple to make if you follow the instructions precisely and most importantly, prepare all of your sauces/marinades etc. as described in the book. Do not try and cut corners by substituting/omitting ingrediants, as dont forget this book is about TASTE. ... this has to be the bargain recipe book of the century for the curryoholic! I bought 5 copies for friends who were that impressed with the outcome. It knocks spots off other books costing 5 times as much!

The Curry Secret |
What did I do without this book ?! Perfect indian restaurant cookery, the sort of indian curries we are used to eating. Already this book has saved me ££££, FANTASTIC, easy to follow instructions, with perfect results every time. It needs to be read before you enter the kitchen, to understand what a Curry is ... Dont make the mistake of turning to the recipies you want and thinking that is all the ingredients you need, all recipies start with a basic curry sauce which is a long process, so allow plenty of time .. It really is well worth the effort.

Take-away currys at home - it works! |
|
This book sets out to show the reader how to create restaurant currys at home using the methods the chefs themselves use. Most other recipe books cover authentic curry methods which never taste quite the same as those in restaurants. Ive just produced my first meal using the method outlined in this book, and the results were superb - up to the best Ive taken-out. The instructions are clear and all the old favourites are included. There is a bit of preperation involved - the principle being based on doing as much cooking as possible in advance then storing or freezing ready for final presentation. If youve had disappointing experiences trying to recreate an authentic taste at home... try this.
